DBDOC IREF HAS NO INPUT.ERR

IREF FV-40223A does not have an input.

This message indicates that the module would not compile under Composer, WinCAD or DOS CADEWS. This means that if you compile the modules, you would have no source for the indicated IREF. This message says that the OREF needed to resolve an IREF was not found. This error is significant because somebody is not following best practices. Correct practice is that you define the output reference first, then add the input references. If these messages show places where the output references were deleted, the same applies, of course. First delete the references, then delete the source. When there are several messages, it suggests a module that was being worked on at the time of the DBDOC build. Our messages make it easy to locate and resolve these holes before people try to compile.

In the example, it is clear that OREF "PV-40223A" must have existed at one time to make the cross-reference work, but it no longer can be found.
