On the View Menu, click Live Loop Snapshot to select On/Refresh or Off. This feature can also be turned on and refreshed by clicking the
button on the toolbar only once, or turned off by double clicking on it.
Note: Live Loop Snapshot mode is now referred to as Autofocus mode.
Use this feature to capture the live block values from your ABB INFI 90 process control system at any given time, and to have them updated automatically whenever you change the display by switching to another document or zooming or scrolling on the current document. You can also refresh the values on-demand by clicking the
button on the toolbar again.
Data requests will be sent to the CIUMON specified on the Live Loop Setup tab of the Options dialog.
To stop live data collection, double-click the
button again. Viewing a different document will not stop data fetches
in Autofocus mode -- data will be fetched and displayed for the new document. Data collection in Live Loop Annotations and the Watch Window is independent of whether Autofocus mode is turned on.
To access the live data for individual inputs, outputs and specs right click on the hotspot and select Create Live Loop Annotation for this Block. For more information about individual live loop annotations, see Creating live loop annotations. To trend live data for groups of blocks, use the Watch Window.
After a certain amount of time the data becomes "stale," meaning the values collected in Autofocus mode are too old to be valid. This is indicated when the values on inputs and outputs turn gray, like this:
You can fetch new data by clicking on the Clock button, moving the scroll bar or by changing documents. You can also modify the Stale Data Interval in the View tab of the Options dialog:
In the unlikely event your live loop connections are configured such that you cannot fetch data for the PCU to which the visible blocks belong, "blue boxes" will be displayed on the document in place of actual data values.
