When you have created timestamps on your plot, you can use the timestamp navigation buttons to move between them.
Select the leftmost timestamp and scroll the plot if possible so that it is centered.
Select the timestamp to the left of the currently selected timestamp, and scroll the plot if possible so that it is centered.
Scroll the plot if possible so that the currently selected timestamp is centered.
Select the timestamp to the right of the currently selected timestamp, and scroll the plot if possible so that it is centered.
Select the rightmost timestamp and scroll the plot if possible so that it is centered.
