Opening an M14 file

On the File menu, click Open... to open a DBDOC title. The standard file Open dialog box appears:

• Look In: Current default directory. Select a new directory or drive from the drop-down list box by clicking the down arrow.
• File Name: Enter the desired file name in the edit box, or select a file name from the list box. You can enter a path (directory) name to change directory or drive. You can also enter a wildcard file name (containing asterisks or question marks) to change the types of files listed (Ex: *.M14 or d?doc.M14) .
• Files of Type: Controls the types of files displayed in the File Name: list box. All DBDOC system snapshot (M14) files should have the MediaView *.M14 extension.

Note: Windows context sensitive help is available for this dialog box by clicking on the question mark icon in the title bar and pointing and clicking on the object of your question.
