You can mark the current topic for printing using Mark for Print on either the hotspot pop-up menu or the general document pop-up menu.

The document you mark for print will be added to the Marked Topics list in the Mark Topic for Printing dialog accessible through the File menu. You can print the topics in the Marked Topics list by selecting Print Marked Topics... from the File menu.
When you choose Mark for Print in a pop-up menu you will be presented with a submenu like the following:

The first choice presented in the submenu is always to mark the current topic (document) for printing. The current document will be added The document you mark for print will be added to the Marked Topics list in the Mark Topic for Printing dialog.
If you choose Mark for Print in a hotspot pop-up menu for a block or reference hotspot, the second option presented will be to add the index for that block or reference to the Marked Topics list.
If you choose Mark for Print in a hotspot pop-up menu for hotspot that links to another document, the second option presented will be to add the index for that block or reference to the Marked Topics list.
You can view and edit the current Marked Topics list in the Mark Topic for Printing dialog by choosing File | Mark Topic for Printing....
