Print... Image:tool print.jpg This function prints a copy of the topic currently displayed on the screen. Print Marked Topics... prints a copy of all topics that have been marked for printing.
Home Image:tool home.jpg Brings up the home pages specified for the Table of Contents and Topic panes. These can be defined under the menu selection Options and the Home Button tab or via the pop-up menu (click here for more details); if no documents have been specified then it will bring up the classic opening view of your M14.
Table Of Contents Image:tool toc.jpg Brings up the document’s general table of contents in the left or top pane.
Synch Table of Contents Image:tool synch toc.jpg Brings up the document’s table of contents closest to the contents of the right or bottom pane.
Display Cross References Image:tool cross reference.jpg Displays an index of graphics which link to a graphic, graphics which the graphic links to and symbols included by the graphic. For symbols, the cross reference shows symbols included by the symbol and the graphics which include the symbol.
Browse to Previous Topic Image:tool previous topic.jpg Goes back to the previous topic in the history list.
Browse to Next Topic Image:tool next topic.jpg Goes forward to next topic in the history list.
Link to Previous Index Entry Image:tool previous index link.jpg In a point index, goes to the previous hyperlink in sequence.
Link to Next Index Entry Image:tool next index link.jpg In a point index, goes to the next hyperlink in sequence.
Back Image:tool back.jpg Goes back to the previous topic in the history list.
Forward Image:tool forward.jpg Goes forward to next topic in the history list.
Changing the pane orientation in the browser Image:tool pane orientation.jpg This button can be toggled between Image:tool pane orientation.jpg Image:tool pane orientation 2.jpg and Image:tool pane orientation 3.jpg
Zoom In Image:tool zoom in.jpg Doubles the magnification of the drawing in the topic pane. The drawing remains centered on the screen throughout all toolbar zooming activity. Zooming may also be accomplished by clicking and dragging a box around a section of the current drawing.
Zoom Out Image:tool zoom out.jpg Decreases the magnification of the drawing by a factor of two.
Zoom Toggle Image:tool zoom toggle.jpg Click on it once to show the whole drawing or graphic unzoomed. Click on it again to restore your original zoom factor.
Searching the System and Navigating Search Results Image:tool search.jpg This button can be toggled between Full Text Search... Image:tool search.jpg, Database Search... Image:tool database search.jpg, and Search All Titles... Image:tool search all titles.jpg
Search Results... Image:tool search results.jpg After a search is complete, you can return to the Search Results dialog box at any time to view other topics that appeared in the search results.
Previous Search Hit Image:tool previous search hit.jpg Goes to the previous result of the full text or database search.
Next Search Hit Image:tool next search hit.jpg Goes to the next result of the full text or database search.
Previous Highlight in Topic Image:tool previous highlight.jpg Scrolls to the previous search hit in the topic.
Next Highlight in Topic Image:tool next highlight.jpg Scrolls to the next search hit in the topic.
Create an Annotation Image:tool create annotation.jpg Creates an annotation anywhere in the content pane.
Create a Live Loop Annotation Image:tool create lla.jpg Creates a live loop annotation anywhere in the content pane.
Manage Annotations... Image:tool manage annotations.jpg Opens the manage annotations window.
Watch Window... Image:tool watch window.jpg Opens the live data watch window.
Audit Window... Image:tool audit window.jpg Opens the audit window.
Add Bookmark Image:tool add bookmark.png Allows you to tag the current topic with a meaningful name.
Live Loop Display (Clock) Image:tool clock.jpg To monitor the live data for all the outputs on the display. If you click this toggle button again all the live data windows on the display which were opened by the previous click will be closed. The manual live loop and live loop annotation windows are not affected by this button.
Slow Mode live data (Camera) Image:tool camera.jpg Hyperview will send out a request to fetch the values of the outputs displayed, and refresh the data every ten seconds (Slow Mode). Double-click to stop fetching data in Slow Mode. Single click to refresh sooner than the ten second interval.
